Anna Silk was born in January 1974. Her most popular role is Bo, from the Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk is an actress from Canada who was born in Fredericton New Brunswick. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk both were academics. Ilkay was also a writer, producer, and director. She is Director of Drama for St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna holds some of her earliest memories of watching television and going to rehearsals for plays. Silk was a part of numerous commercials for kids. She received a Bachelor's of Arts at St. Thomas University in 1997. Silk met her spouse, Seth Cooperman, at an actor's training in Los Angeles in 2007. The couple was engaged in 2009 and were married at the civil ceremony on December. They renewed their vows on April 10th, 2011 in Fredericton following the time that Silk converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was blessed with her son Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May 2013. Levi Aaron, her second son was born on 13 May in 2016. Silk has a number of TV roles, including Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. The actress was nominated to win a Gemini Award in 2009 for this role. In 2009, she was cast in the lead role as Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian TV show Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant during filming the finale of the third season. The actress announced her pregnancy to the viewers in the Showcase Season Three pre-show special that aired on the 6th of January, 2013. Silk revealed via Twitter, on 20 June 2013, that production had begun on Season 4. On 4 June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed the beginning of production for the Fourth season. The CNN Cable News Network named her performance as Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Parker) in Lost Girl as same-sex couples as one of their most-loved TV Couples.
