Gray's buddies influenced her to begin her journey with social media. She ended up having greater success than they did. Her success was so great on the app that her mum used it only to watch her. Gray's acquaintances were not thrilled about her success. Indeed, some members of her circle turned against Gray, instead of embracing her. Loren spoke in a UPROXX interview: "They wrote horrible things about me, saying I was rude, had lips fillers and had work done. I was both anorexic and albino. Some people were saying that they were likely to take me over until I found myself in the bathroom of my school messaging my mom to tell that I was terrified."
