Cheryl Hines
Cheryl Ruth Hines is a Florida native, born in the 21st day of September, 1965 in Miami Beach to Rosemary (Graham) and James Hines. Her parents were James Hines and Rosemary (Graham). Her home was Tallahassee. She was a student at West Virginia University as well as Florida State University before graduating from the University of Central Florida. It wasn't until she moved away from Los Angeles to the Groundlings Theater and began studying comedy at the Groundlings Theater when she realized that she learned about humor. Her first teacher there was Lisa Kudrow. Her first lesson was to come up with ideas and sketch comical sketches. She used this experience to help her prepare for her character of Larry David's spouse on HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm (2000). The dialogue on the situation comedy is created by improvising, and she's comfortable. In the Groundlings Theater is where she performs when time permits.
